Character Creation Rules:

I’d also for you to make up a brief history of your character. It can be as detailed as you want it to be but I’d at least like to have one story hook for your character. Maybe you stole something from a particular guild and are on the run from them or your questing try and find the wizard that incased your family in stone. You can choose to share your history with the others or just let your past catch up to you at some point in the story line and have to tell them why these guild assassins keep attacking the party. I’d also like a list of close relatives of yours in case we run into them or have to save them at some point. Just one or two you can just give me a name, relation, town, and region and I’ll take care of the rest. You might want to note them on you character sheet so you’ll know them if their name pops up.

As far as character creation goes I’d like you to use the Players handbooks 1 and 2 for classes and races but you can use any of the Devin, Martial, Primal, Arcane power books for feats and powers. The adventures vault is also game for magic items you want to purchase. We’ll be starting at first level and I’d like you to use the either arrays or point buy method for your ability scores. I’d like everyone to start with 100 gold but any ritual casters can gain a ritual book for free (I know they cost 50 gp themselves). Feel free to choose any of the races in the player’s handbooks; I only added the descriptions of how the different races are perceived in Kelbourne to add interest to the setting. If you want to be a tiefling paladin that worships a lawful good deity that perfectly ok. I’d just ask that you explain why or how you got to be so different then the norm of your race in your background.
